VST FILTER BASKET RIDGELESS 58MM
The VST filter basket allows you to put 15, 18, 20, 22 or 25 grams of coffee in your portafilter, which is more than most standard filterbaskets you get with your espressomachine. Furthermore, this filter has smooth (ridgeless) walls, giving you a more even extraction. This VST filter basket is a quick and easy upgrade for a better coffee experience, you need to adjust your grind setting when using the VST baskets as the basket itself gives less resistance due to the wide diameter at the bottom of the filterbasket.
This VST filter basket fits any 58 mm portafilter, so also the ones from Gaggia. However we find that 20 grams is the maximum height for the standard Gaggia portafilter.
All VST filter baskets come with a 1-year warranty against defects. The micro openings are manufactured using a state-of-the-art machine. All micro openings are measured on each filter with a laser with an accuracy of +/- 20 µm. (Individual QC report is provided with each filter). All micro apertures are measured for roundness, placement, square area and blocked holes. The anti-wear design ensures uniform performance over the life of the product.
