The great thing about the CF64V is that the burrs are mounted vertically on the grinder and work with a pre-breaker. This ensures that the beans are crushed first and then ground, allowing the grounds to fall vertically, resulting in less retention.
The brushless motor has a variable speed and also ensures quiet operation. The infinitely variable adjustment allows you to grind anything from espresso to filter. Because the grinding discs are mounted vertically, the adjustment knob is also easy to read.
Like all DF coffee grinders, the CF64V is designed for single-dose brewing. You weigh your coffee, grind precisely what you need, and maintain complete control over every brewing method. Switching between beans or grind sizes is quick and easy, with no leftover coffee or waste.
The construction is also excellent: metal has been chosen for the base and key components, with plastic used in clever locations to maintain high-quality results and keep the price reasonable.
