Are you an espresso enthusiast who occasionally enjoys a milk-based drink? Then the Profitec GO 2.0 is an excellent choice for you. The GO 2.0 features a single boiler that heats up within 7 minutes, maintaining a stable water temperature perfect for espresso.

While a single boiler isn't ideal for making many cappuccinos quickly, Profitec's clever 'cool down' function makes it much easier to switch between coffee and steam modes.

The GO 2.0 brings German precision to your espresso extraction. This consistent extraction is achieved by a quiet vibratory pump paired with an adjustable overpressure valve.

After brewing an espresso, you'll need to wait briefly for the steam boiler to heat up. Once it's ready, you can froth your milk with powerful steam using the cool-touch steam wand. What's smart about the GO 2.0 is that the machine automatically enters 'cool down' mode once you've finished steaming. Is your boiler almost empty? This smart machine will notify you.

The build quality is also excellent: powder-coated stainless steel in many fun color choices, a clear manometer, stainless steel buttons, and an OLED PID. An extra bonus: it comes standard with a modular portafilter, 3 filter baskets, a blind filter, and a cleaning brush.

What's the difference between the Profitec GO and the Profitec GO 2.0? While we at FREKKO are already fans of the GO, you'll find that the GO 2.0 offers more precision and control thanks to the updated PID functions. The modular portafilter gives you freedom in which coffee you'll brew. And with the programmable buttons, you can also set how much coffee you want. You can also get hot water from the steam wand; the GO does not have hot water options.

In short: in our opinion, this is one of the best entry-level espresso machines. Getting such a professional machine with so much quality is unique.
