Shipping & Returns
       
        When will my order be shipped?
        
      
    
     Products : We ship orders Monday through Friday. We aim to ship your orders within 48 hours if in stock.
Coffee : We roast our coffees fresh to order. We roast every Tuesday, so your order will be roasted and shipped the following Tuesday.
Special service: Did you request a special service? For example, grinding disc alignment? Your order may be shipped a little later. We aim to ship within 48 hours.
       
        Can I return my order?
        
      
    
    Send us an email at info@frekko.nl and we'll help you return the item. You'll be responsible for the return costs, unless we've agreed otherwise.

        Can I pick up my order?
        
      
    
    Yes, please indicate this when placing your order by selecting 'Pick up at FREKKO' and we'll let you know when it's ready.
       
        What are the shipping costs?
        
      
    
    These are calculated when you place your order and enter your details. The costs are calculated by the courier.
VISIT & SERVICE
       
        Can I visit the studio without any obligation?
        
      
    
    Our studio is open by appointment only, send us a message via WhatsApp on +31 (6) 10 41 26 28 and we will schedule an appointment together.
We see this as a consultation, so don't worry, you are not obliged to buy anything.
       
        Can you advise me on what would be the best thing for me to buy?
        
      
    
     Absolutely! We'd be happy to do so.
 Send us a message via WhatsApp or call us with your question.
 Or even better, make an appointment to visit the studio.
       
        Can you repair my espresso machine?
        
      
    
    Yes, that is possible!
We only repair espresso machines purchased from FREKKO.
Every repair is custom-made, please contact us so we can calculate a price together.
       
        Can you clean my espresso machine?
        
      
    
     That's possible!
 We only clean espresso machines purchased from FREKKO.
 
The price varies per machine because each machine is built differently and can be cleaned differently.
 Please contact us for the price of your machine.
Example: descaling a single boiler from €75.00
       
        What should I do if a product is out of stock?
        
      
    
    If there is no expected delivery date stated on the product page, please contact us.
We will then check with the supplier what the expected delivery time is and let you know when the product will be available again.
COFFEE
       
        Can I serve FREKKO coffee in my business?
        
      
    
    Sounds great! FREKKO coffee is already available at various restaurants and offices in the Netherlands.
We would be happy to visit you so you can sample our coffee on your machine.

        The coffee I liked is no longer in stock, will it be back?
        
      
    
    No, the coffees that are no longer in stock are completely sold out.
We only buy a certain number of kilos and we like to exchange our coffees.
So be quick if you have a favorite ;)

        What does the free barista course after purchase include?
        
      
    
    If you buy your espresso machine from FREKKO and pick it up at our studio, you'll receive a free barista course.
In this course you will learn how to make a good espresso, cappuccino and a 'Dutch bake'.
 Then you can get started right away at home
       
        How do I clean my espresso machine?

In short: 
For cleaning, use only branded or mild, coffee-safe products. Do not use liquid descaler.
 Always keep a cloth near your espresso set so you can easily wipe something away or clean your steam pipe immediately after use.
Glassex works well for making your machine shine. Not unimportant!
       
        What type of water should I use?
        
      
    
    Always use filtered or spring water for your espresso machine. Tap water contains limescale, which can be harmful to your espresso machine.
For filtered water, you can put a water filter in your water tank or buy a special water filter.
Spring water is available in large packages in the supermarket, for example from brands like Spa or Bar Le Duc.
       
        Do I need to descale?
        
      
    
    Only if you work with tap water and the manufacturer recommends this.
 
How often you need to descale your machine depends on the dH of your water. Read more in our blog: How do I clean my espresso machine?
       
        What should I do before using my espresso machine for the first time?
        
      
    
    At FREKKO, we recommend always flushing approximately 500 ml of filtered water through your espresso machine's system before brewing coffee.
COFFEE GRINDER
       
        What should I do before using my coffee grinder for the first time?
        
      
    
    At FREKKO we recommend always grinding approximately 50 grams of coffee on a coarse grind setting before brewing.
 For a DF grinder this is often a grind degree of 45.
       
        How do I clean my coffee grinder?

The most important thing is: never clean the grinder with water!
A super summary: use a brush or a small brush to clean the grinder and the burrs.
