An espresso machine that shows you what's happening during your espresso. The Kafmasino KUBO is made for home baristas who want more than just to pull a good espresso shot. You gain control over temperature, pressure, and flow, while sensors and a built-in scale show you exactly what's happening during your extraction.

The KUBO features a stainless steel boiler and a separate thermoblock for steam. This provides the machine with a stable foundation for brewing espresso and simultaneously allows it to deliver powerful steam for frothing milk. The temperature is measured in the boiler, and the machine uses this information, along with the measured pressure and flow, to calculate the temperature at the coffee bed.

Meanwhile, the pump does more than just push water through your coffee. By adjusting the voltage to the pump, the KUBO can regulate pressure and flow during brewing. This allows you to set different profiles and, for example, experiment with how your espresso starts, how the pressure changes during extraction, and how much water ultimately passes through your coffee. The built-in flowmeter and pressure sensor continuously measure this, so you can actually see what's happening.

The weight of your espresso is also taken into account. The Bluetooth scale in the drip tray monitors how much coffee ends up in your cup during brewing. For instance, if you set a specific target weight, the KUBO can automatically stop the extraction when that weight is reached. This eliminates the need for a separate scale and stopwatch next to your machine.

Operation can be done directly on the machine, but the Kafmasino app for iOS and Android is crucial for accessing all information. You can save recipes, review past shots, and adjust settings. The machine is therefore equally suitable for someone who simply wants to repeat a good recipe as for someone who loves to experiment.

Kafmasino was born from a love for espresso, and the KUBO is not considered a product that is finished after its launch. The cold-touch steam wand ensures that you don't burn your fingers while frothing. And thanks to the separate thermoblock for steam, you can also make cappuccinos, flat whites, and other milk drinks in addition to your espresso.
